PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES ^

Counseling

A process directed by professionals, during which a child, an adolescent or an adult finds solutions for his or her concerns through a series of conversations and the application of his or her own and new tools.

Play Therapy

Children communicate their perception of the world that surrounds them, their feelings, desires, and worries through play. In play therapy, we perceive the needs of the child, teaching him or her effective responses to his or her current difficulties. We also help parents to support their children through play.

Family Therapy

A process through which each member of the family's opinion is validated in order to help the family develop a structure based on respect and collaboration.

Couples Counseling

A process in which the couple works to build channels of communication that permits them to grow together as persons and as a couple, contributing to a better relationship.

Psycho-educational and therapeutic groups

In the groups, the participants learn about the topics within our specialties. Please call to learn which topics are currently available.

Mental Health Evaluations

Through interviews, questionnaires, and simple tests, we evaluate the psychological, emotional, and behavioral state of a person.

FAMILY TRAUMA TREATMENT ^

Family Trauma Treatment

When families have suffered traumas that have triggered separation to ensure the protection of their members, we help them discover their family strengths, learn how trauma affects the family, clarify the abuse, and build safety plans to achieve optimization of family relationships and re-unification of the members, whenever possible.

PARENTING SKILLS ^

Parenting Skill Evaluation and Development

Through interviews, questionnaires, and structured observation of the interactions between parents and their children, we evaluate the areas in which the parents need to grow to be more effective and we help them incorporate skills that permit them to teach their children their own family values free of fear or violence.

ENERGY HEALING ^

Energy Healing

With an integrated vision of the person, we facilitate processes through which each person recognizes his or her capacity for self-healing as an energetic being. In addition to the techniques offered by the counselor, we utilize those the person knows through his or her ancestral/cultural wisdom. Some of the techniques used are: the emotional freedom technique (EFT), reiki, breathing techniques, acupressure, visualizations, and/or regressions.
